Educational Psychology
Many parents wish to have children are smart and clever. Teachers want their students to succeed in learning. All of this can be seen from the record of academic achievement. However, not all children can excel academically.
They were left behind in academics, not infrequently seen as a child who "slow" and "weak". Slow because it can not follow the pace of learning like other children. Weak because it does not have the confidence and good academic grades.
Does this mean a student can not achieve good academic value and can not be successful in the future ?.
It is less precise. Basically, all children can develop well and optimize the pattern of thought in the study. The key is simple, that is encouraging children to learn according to their individual learning styles.
Factors and learning styles is quite a lot.
First, the right brain dominant students more than the left brain. This makes students think analytically difficult.
Secondly, kinesthetic preferences and emotional factors play a strong role in learning.
Third, students have the desire mobility is high enough so difficult to sit quietly.
Fourth, students usually do not get excited in the morning. However, during the day and evening, students are more eager to learn.
Fifth, students prefer to learn in a desolate condition, for example, to the accompaniment of music.
Sixth, students learn more easily agitated if poor indoor lighting or dim.
Seventh, students are not comfortable with the learning environment that are considered inconvenient.
Eighth, students who can not find friends in whom to study or work well together.
Ninth, students experience anxiety when confronted with a teacher or a parent that is less interest in learning.
Tenth, students feel it difficult to learn, passive, depressed ever since failed, and reluctant to interact with friends or teachers.
Eleventh, students give up and do not have the confidence or pessimistic.
Twelfth, the students can not work alone and need a lot of guidance from parents or of teachers in the study.
Thirteenth, the students do not feel comfortable if too many changes, but rather require routine.
These aspects that need to be understood by parents and teachers.
(Success is achievement, the completion of the goals that may be in case of failure. Paul Messier)
